PNRP - Public Notification, July 2015
Overview
The Proposed Natural Resources Plan for the Wellington Region (the proposed Plan) was prepared with the regional community and in partnership with the region’s mana whenua iwi to help people sustainably manage natural and physical resources within the Wellington region - and publicly notified in July 2015.
The proposed Plan brought together the five existing regional plans (air, soil, freshwater, discharge to land, and coastal plans) for the Wellington Region into one integrated document.

Decisions version, 31 July 2019
In accordance with Clauses 10 and 11 of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Wellington Regional Council gave notice on 31 July 2019 of its decisions on the provisions and matters raised in submissions on the proposed Natural Resources Plan for the Wellington Region. From 31 July 2019 the proposed Natural Resources Plan was amended in accordance with those decisions (decisions version).

Clause 16 Amendments to PNRP Decisions version, 19 November 2019
The Wellington Regional Council has made amendments, pursuant to Clause 16, Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991, to the Proposed Natural Resources Plan, Decisions Version dated 31 July 2019 (PNRP).
These amendments include corrections to address minor errors, spelling and formatting and are set out in the memorandum and schedule below, together with the reasons for the amendment. These amendments are incorporated into the Appeals version of the PNRP.
Appeals version, 2019
The Appeals Version 2019 identifies which parts of the Proposed Natural Resources Plan (PNRP) are subject to appeals and therefore may change as a result of the appeals process. Those parts of the PNRP under appeal are shown in red text with the Appellant party(ies) listed in the right hand margin.

The Natural Resources Plan will not be fully operative until all appeals are resolved. Where a rule of a proposed Plan has not been appealed, in accordance with Section 86F it must be treated as operative (and any previous rule as inoperative).
Where appeals are resolved, Consent Orders will be issued by the Environment Court and will be recorded in the table referenced here (see link). The relevant sections of the PNRP will then be updated and made available on Council’s website. Please note that the Council is not providing an annotation service, or printing hard copies of the Appeals Version and each person is responsible for updating their hard copies of the PNRP.
