Request for information: 

"As the majority shareholder in Centreport, and with Centreport having approximately 60+ cruise ship visits over the summer period in 2024 alone (excluding summer period 2023), can GWRC provide: 

(a) the amount of water provided to cruise ships, both a total amount and an average per ship; 

(b) the fees, levy, compensation or otherwise imposed per megalitre (or part thereof) by Centreport on the cruiseships; 

(c) what profit Centreport making per megalitre (or part thereof); 

(d) is this profit being hypothecated back towards the investing of improvement/renewal/repair of Wellington's water network, via Wellington WAter; and 

(e) are there limits being imposed upon the amount of water being supplied to cruise ships currently (e.g. a maximum amount available per ship, or a percentage of their maximum available storage), given the water restrictions now in place and predicted increased restrictions in the near future?"
