“Under the Official Information Act 1982, I request the following information regarding the
property located at the end of Bulls Run Road (WN18B/965), which appears to be owned by
Wellington Regional Council:
1. Confirmation of Wellington Regional Council's ownership of this property, including when and how it was acquired.
2. The current classification/purpose of this land (e.g., reserve, water catchment, conservation, surplus, etc.).
3. Whether this property is currently designated as surplus to Council requirements or is under consideration for disposal/sale.
4. Any existing plans, proposals, or decisions regarding the future use or potential sale of this property.
5. If the property is not currently for sale, what process would be required for the Council to consider selling it, and whether unsolicited expressions of interest are accepted.
6. Details of any encumbrances, restrictions, or obligations on the property, including:
- Forestry rights or profit a prendre agreements
- Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) registration and any carbon liabilities
- Any other registered interests
7. The current rateable/market valuation of the property.”
