Greater Wellington has been reviewing the calculation of leave payments in its former payroll system to ensure compliance with the Holidays Act 2003. This review has identified some areas of non-compliance which means money is owed to some former employees.  

If you worked for Greater Wellington between 1 June 2010 and 4 June 2022 you may be owed a remediation payment.

We are paying back any money owed, even if it is just 1 cent. You will be advised after the first step in the process if the money owed to you is less than $5.
