Every winter we plant hundreds of thousands of trees, shrubs and grasses in our parks, alongside our rivers and across the whenua.
As well as helping make the places we live and play become more beautiful, planting increases and improves habitats for wildlife, helps prevent soil erosion, and improves water quality.
Help improve your environment – get out and get planting!
We can’t do it alone! We depend on lots of partners, volunteer groups and people like you getting out there alongside us to get their hands dirty getting plants in the ground.
