A day in the life of a Greater Wellington park ranger! This event for kids between the ages of 7-12 years old offers a day in Battle Hill Regional Park with our experienced park rangers.
Kids will complete a series of activities to earn their own Tamariki Ranger badge (an embroidered badge they can iron on to their jersey or hat etc). Prepare for river crossings, fire safety, marshmallow toasting, eel feeding, chicken feeding …. and more! 
Kids will learn about how Greater Wellington’s park rangers care for nature and the community in Battle Hill.
This event is hosted in partnership with Bush Sprouts nature school and NZ Fun Adventures.
Battle Hill Tamariki Ranger Day is limited to just 30 participants. Book your place now. A limit of two registrations per person applies.
