Keen to get back on a bike or get riding for the first time? Want to build confidence on two wheels and get some tips about how to stay safe when sharing the road? Come along to one or more of our free 2 hour sessions led by supportive, experienced instructors. Sessions hosted by Free Ride.
Pedal Ready is running a series of free Whānau friendly sessions in Naenae led by supportive, experienced instructors.
Skills covered will include starting and stopping safely, turning, looking and signalling, using gears, stopping quickly with control, plus tips about riding on shared paths and quiet streets.
Tamariki very welcome to join in (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session).
Bikes and helmets available if you don't have your own.
2pm meet at Free Ride workshop at 35 Hillary Court, next to the old Video EZY. We’ll head to Barton Reserve (access from Chapman Crescent) at about 2.20 after our briefing.
