Join the fun of an exciting treasure hunt in picturesque Wainuiomata Regional Park brought to you by family adventure experts Everyone Out. Take the challenge and explore magical landscapes, surrounded by the gum trees and native forests.
Details:
Discover the enchantment of Wainuiomata Regional Park with your friends and whānau. Work collaboratively to crack secret codes, unlock boxes and conquer challenges strategically placed throughout the park. The adventure awaits, with a course suitable for participants of all ages, from kids to teenagers and adults.
Teams:
Form teams of 2 to 4 members, spanning all age groups. For larger groups, consider purchasing additional tickets or forming a second team. Each team must include at least one participant over 14 years old. Tickets cost $10 per team. Please book one ticket per team. Book your ticket on Eventfinda.
Timetable:
1:30pm - Registration: Gather at the designated registration area in Wainuiomata Regional Park.
1:55pm - Briefing: Find out the details of the challenge.
2:00pm - Start: Embark on your adventure, choosing your own course through the park.
4:00pm - Finish: Teams have until 4pm to complete the adventure. Remember to sign out once your team finishes.
4:15pm - Prizegiving.
What to bring:
- Snacks and water bottles for your team.
- Pen/pencil.
- Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.
- Waterproof layer if rain is expected.
- For the adventurous ones, a change of clothes and a towel may come in handy.
Parking and Transport:
Find parking at the main entrance of Wainuiomata Regional Park. Consider public transport options, with the 170 bus stop nearby on Hine Road.
Cancellations:
Limited event day tickets are available (unless sold out prior). The event is rain or shine, but in the case of hazardous weather, check the Everyone Out Facebook page and the Everyone Out website for updates at 9 am on the event day.
